How To Draw A Cartoon Ice Cream. When the hot days arrive, it can be a great excuse to go out and have fun in the summer! However, the heat can sometimes be excessive; in these cases, we need ways to help us calm down. One of the best ways to do that is with ice cream, and we’re going to create a really fun version of that ice cream in this guide on how to draw a cartoon ice cream!

We’ve got a version of ice cream that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen in real life, and it should be a fun drawing challenge! Get ready to cool off with some creative drawing fun as we begin this step-by-step guide on how to draw a cartoon ice cream in just 7 easy steps. You can draw many more characters like bird drawing with color. Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.

Step 1:

What’s more useful than a spoonful of ice cream on a hot day? The answer would be two tablespoons! Can there be anything better than this? Three tablespoons, of course! For this reason, the candy bar we will design in this guide on drawing a cartoon ice cream will have three layers. We’ll start drawing the first of these three layers in this step of our guide. This will have a rounded top section drawn with a fairly smooth line. We will then use jagged curved lines for the bottom of this ice cream layer. For more details, we will draw an ice cream that melts and moves to the next layer. So we are ready for the next step of the guide!

Step 2:

We will add the second layer of this ice cream cartoon design. It will be very similar in shape and design to the top layer, but since it sits below the top layer, we won’t see the top of that layer. This second layer will also have a part that flows down to the part below. Speaking of this part, we’ll add it to the next step of the guide!

Step 3:

We need another layer of ice cream before it’s done, so add it now! Again, this layer will be drawn similarly to the previous two layers. Again, there will also be a small drop falling from it. You can add more drip sections to make it look appreciated on a hot day! We can then move on to other details and aspects in the next step of the guide.

Step 4:

Next, this ice cream needs a cone to bind it all together, and we’ll add that in this step! The outline of the cone will be triangular, but it will be a rounded triangle. The outline will also be drawn with an irregular line to give it a more textured look. Once you have removed this cone, we can dance 5!

Step 5:

At the beginning of this guide on drawing a cartoon ice cream, we mentioned that it would be unlike any other ice cream you’ve seen in real life. This will become apparent in this fifth step, as we will now add a cute little smiley face to your ice cream! The eyes will be drawn using simple curved lines with small eyelashes sticking out. Next, we’ll draw a smiling mouth using two small, curved lines that connect. In the next step of the guide, we will complete some details and put the finishing touches!

Step 6:

The last detail of this cartoon ice cream design we need to add will be some textural details on the cone. This part of the drawing may be the trickiest, so be sure to do it nice and slow! The texture will be drawn using diamond shapes in rows. The reference image will show how they should be placed to be convincing, so try to follow it as you draw! You can also add some additional details to complete this. We think drawing a nice summer-themed background would be perfect for this, but how will you finish it?

Step 7:

Everyone has a favorite flavor of ice cream, and you can show off some of your favorites in this final step! Our reference image used a light pink for the top layer and a darker shade for the middle layer. The background is chocolate brown, and the cone has lovely orange and gold tones to top it all off. We’ve chosen these colors, but if you want to use other colors for your design to show off your favorite flavors, you have to!

Finished Drawing!
